A note on our services: Smith Premier Home Care is a non-medical home care agency. Our caregivers provide daily living support, safety supervision, companionship, and respite care for family caregivers — we do not administer medications, provide skilled nursing care, or perform clinical procedures. For clients who need skilled nursing or medical care, we're happy to help coordinate with the appropriate provider.
Do you accept Medicaid or insurance? At this time, Smith Premier Home Care accepts private-pay clients only. We are actively working to become an approved provider for select Illinois government-funded home care programs. That range of experience gave her a deep, personal understanding of what families need most in their hardest moments — to be heard, to be treated gently, and to know their loved one is genuinely cared for. Smith Premier Home Care was built on that understanding: rigorous caregiver screening, honest communication with families, and a refusal to treat any client as just another case number.
As Administrator and RN, Laquita personally oversees agency compliance, caregiver training, and client matching — ensuring every family who trusts Smith Premier Home Care receives the standard of care she would want for her own loved ones.
